George E. Lewis, III, M.Sc., MBA
Colonel Lewis was born in Frederick, Maryland. George was awarded an ROTC scholarship and graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate (DMG) in 1993 from Methodist University where received his commission as a Military Intelligence Officer and his Bachelors degree in Political Science. George has since earned Masters Degrees with honors in Business Administration, Military Art and Science, and National Security Studies from Touro University, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the Naval War College, respectively.
George Lewis currently serves as a U.S. Army Colonel on the Army General Staff as the Chief of Force Development (Intelligence).
His military education includes Basic Training, the Defense Language Institute, Electronic Warfare Operations Course, and both the Primary Leadership and Basic Noncommissioned Officer Development Courses, the Military Intelligence Officer Basic Course, Military Intelligence Officer Advance Course, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School (CAS3), Electronic Warfare/ Signal Intelligence Officer Course, the Special Operations Qualification Course, SERE School, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, and the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), as well as the United States Army Command and General Staff College.
George’s military awards include the Bronze Star (with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Combat Action Badge, Army Aircraft Crew Member Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, and Ranger Tab.
